Peace
27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Jesus teaches us about peace, a real peace...It is a different kind of peace that is different from this world...
This kind of peace does not come from outward things, such as material things...Some of us, both past and present in our lives, have spent a lot of time looking for treasures and pleasures that will make our lives peaceful, comfortable, and happy...This mentality on material things can keep us focused on just that, a life time of wanting material things...We think that once we have more, or this thing, then we will have what we desire, when this material pleasure is fulfilled -we will have what we need...Then we realize a week later, or a month later, another material desire has raised its head...We now want something else...
Jesus teaches us that happiness and being blessed comes from faith, and a closeness to His Father...When we have a relationship with Him and His Father, we have what we need...We then have the right Treasure...This Treasure is not of this earth, it is from above...When we have and understand this, we have the kind of peace He talks about...
The Peace that Jesus gives is not of this world…His peace comes from God’s Kingdom…By having His Peace there is little or no conflict in our lives or in our minds…For those who believe in Jesus, you carry His Peace with you throughout your entire day, throughout your entire life…It is a beautiful Joy in life which only He can bring…Jesus’ Peace is heartfelt and makes your life feel more abundant…Jesus’ Peace is good for your soul…Jesus’ Peace comes with LOVE and with Grace…
So, let not our hearts be troubled...Jesus’ Peace leads us to the cross and to His Father...
