There will be 5 animation projects with teams of 5-6 students collaborating on each one. They will be integrated into the Jim Crow Museum Virtual Tour.

Attendance is mandatory for full duration of each class period.
Students are expected to work collaboratively during these times.
The project is broken into a number of phases for each job. They do not necessarily correlate with each other.
Students can check the course calendar to see what they should be working on and when it is due.
There are 3 types of Jobs. Each student will perform one of them for most of the semester. Each student on every team may be called upon to help out with the other jobs, especially near the end of the semester.

Create the illustrations, text boxes & text balloons directly in Adobe Animate
Note: Initial sketches can be performed using any software.

The animators will primarily use Art created by the the students performing the art and text jobs.

Sound design can include both original works and appropriated sound from creative commons websites.
Most of the sound will be integrate in Adobe Animate adn some sound in Premier during final assembly
Student are expected to engage via Zoom for the full 3 hours of every class session. Check the course calendar for the Zoom link.
at 12:30 Tuesdays and Thursdays all students meet for attendance and enter their breakout groups where they will work together to create the goals for that day.

There will be 3 Asynchronous Intermediate Reviews that will be performed using Google Forms. All students will review all projects at the stages listed below.
