Medieval Coronation means the crowning of a King or Queen in medieval times (around 1500 and something! - a long time ago!)
Can you hear how the music sounds quite grand and regal(like royalty)? How can you play it to sound even more grand? Quite loudly? Quite slowly? Legato (smooth) playing? Why don't you experiment and listen to which is most effective?

How do you know you have to play this piece with your left hand?
Can you find your landmark notes in this piece? Can't remember your LANDMARK NOTES? Click here for a reminder.
Why don't you play LANDMARK HEIST as a fun way to practise your landmark notes?

Remember that D.C. Al Fine means go back to the start of the music and play all the way to the word Fine (like Finish in English). Can you remember what language 'da capo al fine' is?

Don't forget to play the piece through twice because of the REPEAT SIGN.

Your right hand plays mostly the same pattern all the way through, so does your left hand!
Try to play as smoothly as possible to create the idea of Dandelion clocks floating in the air in the summer breeze!
To play smoothly use walking fingers: play one note, then play the next before you let go of the first finger that played, once you have played the second note remember to let go of the finger that played the first note.
Page 48
Left hand and right hand play at the SAME TIME because of the curly bracket or BRACE joining the two staves:
