I've probably asked you to IMPROVISE with a particular choice of notes or in a particular key. Use the backing tracks to play along with.
But if you want some more inspiration, why not create your own piece of music inspired by the IMAGES and TITLES below.
There is no RIGHT or WRONG - you are EXPERIMENTING.
KEEP GOING! Get used to keeping to the pulse even if the notes you choose surprise you! Keep going and make changes as you keep playing.
Think about what KEY you are playing in.
Think about whether it would sound better LOUD or quiet; fast or slow; high or low...
Try REPEATING some of your favourite ideas.
Think about the INTERVALS you are using - keep it simple to start with and just use 2nds (steps) or 3rds (skips).
Use your RHYTHM CARDS to help create a rhythm in your piece.
Use patterns/musical ideas from your PIECES that you like.
Hear whether you want the notes to go up or down in your head first and then try to get your fingers to create the sound you wanted.
Once you like it, WRITE IT DOWN!
