Did Jesse live to be an old man?
I saved this article early in my research and will need to try and find out the date it was published, however, but by all accounts, it appears to be the Jesse Lynch I'm related to. He had been arrested several other times for bootlegging, and the family moved to the Northern California area. The author of the article does a little detective work, and figures out who was arrested that day and then names him in the article: "an old man named Jesse Lynch was arrested this afternoon for alleged illegal possession of 32 bottles of homebrew and awaits determination of possible alcoholic content."

John William Lynch family bible records:
William Lynch navigating maritime water; was he trying to be stealthy? Or forgot a light? I'm thinking there is more to the story since the US Gov. wanted to seize the boat...for not having a light.
