In the Spring of 1925, Edna and Jack Murray and living with her younger sister, Doris/Dollie, and her current husband, Earl Stuchlik. The two married couples participated in a bootlegging operation, running “hooch” from New Orleans to Kansas City. In 1925, Edna and her husband were sentenced to 25 years in prison for a robbery in Kansas City. On December 13, 1932, Edna made her third escape from the Women's State Penitentiary in Missouri, with Irene McCann by sawing off the bars.
