Article posted in the Mountaineer:     “Long-Lost Relatives United in Canton”

According to the article, on March 30, two sisters, Charlene Lanzarini of St. Louis, Missouri, and Mary Jones of Tucson, Arizona, visited Canton and met their half-siblings, Ms. Blalock and Kenneth Bishop, for the first time. The article details that these strangers knew they were sisters when they both realized confirmed to each other that their father was missing part of a finger on his right hand. The fingerprints of Jesse are on the home page, and he appears to be missing part of his finger. According to Ms. Lanzarini, her father, Charles Estes Bishop, worked for the railroad and had lost part of his finger in a first railroad accident. He then disappeared in 1920, said to have headed west, changed his name, and married a woman, who he had five with.
