One of the most important jobs of a teacher is to connect your students with resources that will help them to be independent learners. Purdue Owl is one such source. It is a reference guide for how to format a paper based on the style required. Formatting is an important part of writing as it gives clarity to our writing. As a teacher, I would model how to use this webiste to my students. After that, I would recommend my students to look at it whenever they have questions about formatting. 

Chegg Citation Machine

The Chegg website can help students to make citations for their papers. Of course, they should always double check them but this can be helpful tool to speed up the otherwise-tedious process of citing sources. Another thing i like about the Chegg website is that there is a plagarism checker. Students can paste their essays into their checker and they will be told whether they plagarized or not. This is important as paraphrasing can be a complex skill and many students may unintentionally plagarize. As a teacher, i would like to introduce this to my students and allow them to use it for their essays.
