EF Set Test

How to use this resource: 

This online English assessment assesses reading and listening proficiecny. EF has one that is 15 minutes long and another that is 50 minutes long. This resource is free and easily access as opposed to many proficiency exams such as the TOEFL and the Cambridge exams. For this reason, this example can be used as preliminary placement exam in places where a placement exam is not in place already. The placement test should then be verified through a series of diagnostics. However, it provides a jumping-off point. This might prove useful in community ESL courses or other places where students finances and school funding is tight.
