Resident Benefits
Salary for 2022-2023:
PGY-1: $56,433
PGY-2: $60,282
PGY-3: $63,087
PGY-4: $66,177
PGY-5: $69,267
Food Stipend:
$930 every six months to be used at all three campuses
GME Funds:
$1500 per year for GME Money to used for educational resources, board review, apps, equipment, scrubs, association fees etc.
COMLEX/STEP 3 is covered by GME
Residents/fellows are permitted to use up to $500 of their annual educational stipend toward wellness activities, including but not limited to gym membership, exercise class fees, yoga, meditation/mindfulness classes/apps
Residents/fellows are permitted to use up to $750 on educational technology, with prior approval from the Program Director and Administration. This includes but not limited to; cell phones, tablets, laptops, desktop computers.
Funding can also contribute towards global health trips!
You may apply for funding if you are presenting at a national conference as well!
Vacation:
Two weeks of vacation taken in one week intervals on eligible rotations.
Residents also receive one week vacation during the Holiday block (Christmas or New Years).
Five PTO days can be used on vacation eligible rotations.
