Nothing is more exciting and rewarding than healing others around the world. Our program provides support for annual mission trips across the world. Here are some excerpts and photos of the experiences of our intrepid residents!
After a COVID-19 hiatus, we are happy to announce one resident went to Peru in June 2022 and three residents will be traveling to Uganda in September 2022. Stay tuned for updates!
Uganda - September 2022

Peru
Peruvian American Medical Society organizes an annual surgical and medical trip to Yantalo in June. Medical professionals, medical, pre-med, and PA students from all across the US attend this clinic and provide basic primary care services and perform operations on a variety of conditions.
El Salvador
During an annual elective, our residents, program graduates and local doctors provide essential primary care to the people in rural El Salvador. This trip is organized in conjunction with the non-profit Doctors of the Americas and Los Commandos.
Honduras
In conjunction with St. Mark's church of Philadelphia and the Diocese of Honduras, JeffNE residents join a group of local and international volunteers, doctors, nurses and surgeons to provide primary healthcare and medicines to the people in and surrounding rural Cuyamelito, Honduras.
