Co-Principal Investigator – IES Research Training Grant (2025 Submission)

In 2025, I co-authored and submitted a full grant proposal to the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) in collaboration with Dr. Wilson Okello from Penn State University and Rethink New Orleans. The proposed project, titled "Learning from New Orleans Youth: Cultivating Community-Engaged Methodological Training to Design Educational Pathways," seeks $1.65 million in federal funding to train undergraduate scholars through youth participatory research. The program foregrounds youth voice, community-driven design, and methodological diversity. As Co-PI, I contributed to program conceptualization, curriculum development, and institutional collaboration through Xavier’s Community Outreach Center.
