Who is responsible?
Leadership
The Educational Leader and the Centre Manager attended a networking meeting with other ELs and CMs to collaborate on Quality Area 1. We examined other centres programs and self assessed our quality area 1 implementation.
We held our first 2024 Room Leader Meeting with the intentions of this becoming a regular and embedded practice. We do these on Tuesdays to ensure that all room leader's are able to attend. If a room leader is away we continue with the meeting and a representative from their room attends in their place. We record the meetings to ensure that we are accountable and consistent.
Evidence: Meeting Minutes
On April 20 our Management Team and Lead Educators were invited to attend a Professional Development workshop with Leeza Browne. This worksop focused on how to be an effective leader with an early learning service.
Our team worked with Phoenix Cups support for Educators to support our behaviour guidance within the room. The Phoenix Cups framework is informed by latest educational theories
Our ECT attends meetings with other Eden ECTs to collaborate and discuss strategies for Kindergarten learning, Kindy Funding and other incursions/excursions.
Our goals for Professional Collaboration in 2025:
continue to facilitate room leader meetings with the Educational Leader and director to promote collaboration between rooms
find ways to facilitate more collaboration between all educators
