The Educational Leader, knowing that the understanding of what critical reflection requires is not quite understood by the educators yet, conducted a range of research into slow pedagogy as a method of addressing the educators concerned as highlighted after the Phoenix Cips training (see QA5 - Slow Pedagogy). See the research below that informed the educators reflections and the actions we took.
With all the theory and research that the educational leader had done, she spoke to the Room Leaders about the research and what theory has said. The room leader also watched a short video on slow pedagogy by the Froebel Trust (see below) and used that to inform their reflections.Â
