Is overpopulation an issue with your country?
Kenya has experienced significant population growth over the years. The population growth rate has been relatively high, leading to concerns about sustainability and strain on resources such as land, water, healthcare, education, and employment opportunities. The rate of population growth can influence various aspects of a nation, including its economy, environment, healthcare system, education system, and social services.
Does it confirm or reject Malthus theory? Explain why or why not?
Yes it does confirm Malthusian theory, Malthusian theory states that the more people there are, the more resources used. And at some point those resources will run out as population exceeds food production, this correlates with Malthusian theory because as of recent years kenya has very significant growth in recent years. And this growth will continue to increase as the years pass by, and without adequate laws to stop this kenya will fall to overpopulation. And have to resort to drastic measures ( ex: Antinatalist policies like china)
