Hi, I'm Claire! I'm from Kansas, and I love British history. In lieu of getting a PhD and teaching (which I don't necessarily want to do), I've decided to become a history subject librarian in an academic library, which will allow me to engage with the scholarly literature and to work with (future) historians without teaching full-time. Hence, my interest in this class. When I'm not working on my MSLS, I do research for the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, and I read historical fiction. If I could make a job out of reading historical fiction, I absolutely would!
