TTRS is a specially designed course for students who find spelling, reading and writing a challenge.
It has been designed with students with dyslexia in mind and has drawn from two specific programmes for dyslexia in their design (Orton & Gillingham and Alpha to Omega).
It uses a multi-sensory approach so that users can practice their skills through seeing, hearing and touch-typing words.
Students practice sight words and phonics which then help improve reading and spelling while learning how to type.
It requires a paid subscription in order to access the programme.
Typing Club is a free website designed for students that allows them to progressively work through a set of lessons.
It is visually appealing to children and it includes games and the option to watch a story unfold as you type it.
It also has options for learning to type in different languages.

There is an option to add ‘lesson plans’ (click the lesson plan tab on the menu) and select a series of lessons that suits your child:
Typing Jungle – ranges from beginner to advanced and includes games, videos and interactive lessons.
Jungle Junior – designed for students aged 5-7. It focuses on letter recognition, finger dexterity and associating fingers with letters on the keyboard.
There is also a premium paid version that is ad-free and includes more games and typing stories.
