Sinopse
Synopsis/ Project Description:
The multiple possible connections between drawing and contemporary dance, were assumed as the central point of the workshop, carried out with a 10th year class of Visual Arts Scientific-Humanistic Course students. A class that integrates students of the articulated teaching of dance, from the Almada Dance Company School.
Through the use of line and blotch, experimental exercises were developed, assuming the sound and the body in movement as starting points for the graphic composition.
From the set of three sessions workshop, multiple cartographies have resulted, mapping: the perceptions of sounds; of movements; of rhythms; the duration and extension of the gesture; of time, as well as the relationship between the body and the drawing with and within space.
These processes constituted themselves, simultaneously, as territories for individual learning and collective dialogue. From these workshops have also resulted series of drawings that make it possible to investigate transforming forms of seeing, perceiving, establishing connections, generating knowledge and/or developing dialogue(s) with the other.
