The Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris was created in 1925 to provide a deep and lasting foundation for peace, and to promote exchange and multicultural understanding by bringing together young people from all over the world in the same living space. Nowadays, it continues to offer its residents an experience of sharing and cultural exchange within its 45 houses, one of which is the Fondation des Etats-Unis. It is located in the 14th arrondissement of Paris inside a beautiful 34-acre park and welcomes 12,000 students from 140 different countries. Its residents are mostly graduate students but the FEU also welcomes American study abroad students.
The Fondation des Etats-Unis was opened in 1930 and offers 274 rooms for American and international students. It is both a non-profit private student residence and a cultural center.
The commitment to the principles and values of the FEU is a condition of choosing this type of housing.

It is located right across the street from the Parc Montsouris - a great spot for reading, eating lunch, running, picnics, and being in nature.
