As educators in a global world, we believe that ACTIVE INVOLVEMENT (in French "engagement") is the cornerstone of our educational policy.  Hence, we are here to help you become an ACTOR involved daily in the process of learning the language, the culture and understanding others—and yourself.

We see our mission as a duty :

            To accompany you as you reflect on and accept your experience abroad.  Accept means to accept being lost, being cut off, changing one’s habits and vision of the world, what is “normal”, changing one’s self, etc,

            To help you articulate what you are learning and experiencing.  To talk through your crises, to help situate the crisis in the over-all process of adapting to living abroad, to counsel you on how to accept and overcome the difficulties encountered,

            To teach and explain our country, our culture, our city, to help build bridges between two cultures in order to understand and appreciate the new culture.

As educators in a global world, we want you to avoid being a passive spectator. We hope that you will acquire a truly cosmopolitan point of view, which will fight against preconceived conceptions and judgments.
