Evolving from the idea of how to do more with what we are presently doing, the Corn Meal Project was conceived.
Make fresh cornmeal to be provided for distribution to local neighbors in need, from select dent corn as now grown in the IHartHarvest Inc., Sustainability Project. (For those who remember; Some years ago, we had grown and processed 'popcorn' with like intent but found this product overall not viable.)
Begin sampling and trailing, utilizing lower cost equipment and staging, to initially produce enough end product, to reveal over a period of time, any desire for use of this fresh food ingredient, by clients via the Helping Harvest Food Bank Distribution Network. (More will follow)
