Toshiba has been making escalators since the 1960s. The division that currently produces elevators and escalators is known as Toshiba Elevator and Building Systems Corporation.
It has been on the Indonesian market since around the 1980s, represented by PT. Capitol Mutual Corporation. Since 1998, it is represented by PT. Toshindo Elevator Utama. It is the least common Japanese escalator brand in Indonesia.
Toshiba escalators and moving walks are usually distinguished by their unique punched diamond shaped pattern on the landing covers.
The name of this model is unknown. It has pointed skirt ends, and keyswitches as well as emergency stop button is located on the outer side of the escalator.
A pair of second hand old Toshiba escalators which are believed to be from the 1980s can be found in Sunset Point, Bali. They are currently the only known 1980s Toshiba escalators exist in Indonesia.

KINDMOVER was a standard Toshiba escalator model sold from the 2000s until 2010s.

TC Series was Toshiba's moving walk model sold in the 2000s. This model has not yet been found in Indonesia.
Kindmover-II is the second generation of KINDMOVER, launched in the 2010s. This model hasn't been found yet in Indonesia.
TG Series is a standard escalator model sold since the 2020s.
ARE Series is the current moving walk model sold since the 2020s. It is believed to be a successor of the TC Series.
Toshindo Elevator Utama also imports Mashiba escalators and moving walkways produced by MS Elevators Sdn. Bhd. (now Toshiba Elevator Manufacturing Asia Sdn. Bhd.) in Malaysia. These escalators are either branded as "Mashiba" or "M Escalator".
There are at least three known types:
MES30 (older model), with design very similar to Schindler 9300 AE escalators.
MES30 (newer model), with a newer but different design.
M Escalator branded type, very rare. The model name is not known.
