TK Elevator (or simply TKE) is a German elevator manufacturer and is the third largest one in the world. Originally part of the German multinational conglomerate corporation thyssenkrupp AG, it spun off in 2021 into a separate company known as TK Elevator.
TKE (then ThyssenKrupp) entered Indonesia in 2005, but its history actually started in 1984 when Thyssen, the predecessor of ThyssenKrupp, entered the country through PT. Thyssindo Griatama (now Marico Gria) as its distributor. This arrangement continued until 2004.
It is currently represented by PT. TK Elevator Indonesia (previously PT. ThyssenKrupp Elevator Indonesia, 2005-2010s; and PT. thyssenkrupp Technologies Indonesia, 2010s-2021)
