OTIS

The world's largest elevator manufacturer, and second largest manufacturer of escalators. OTIS has been installing escalators in Indonesia since the late 1960s.

Schindler

Swiss brand. The world's largest manufacturer of escalators (second for elevators). The most commonly seen escalator brand in Indonesia.

KONE

Finnish brand. The fourth largest elevator manufacturer in the world.

Thyssen / thyssenkrupp / TKE

A German brand that has already installing escalators in Indonesia since the 1980s when it was known as Thyssen.

Mitsubishi / Shanghai Mitsubishi

Perhaps the most common Japanese escalator brand in Indonesia. Also includes its Chinese subsidiary Shanghai Mitsubishi.

Hitachi

Well known in Indonesia for the first escalator in the country (1966) at the Sarinah department store in Jakarta.

Fujitec

Another well known Japanese brand.

Toshiba

A less commonly seen Japanese brand in Indonesia when it comes to escalators.

GoldStar / LG / Sigma
