Hyundai Elevator (has no relationship with Hyundai Motors that produces cars) is a South Korean elevator manufacturer established in 1984.
It first entered the Indonesian market around the 1980s through PT. Bakti Bestotek Indonesia, and from 1993 it was represented by PT. Superhelindo Jaya Perkasa. Since 2013, it is represented by PT. Hyundai Elevator Indonesia, one of the six overseas subsidiaries of Hyundai.
Hyundai's standard 1990s escalator model features flat handrail ends with the "HYUNDAI" logo printed on one of the ends. Keyswitch and emergency stop button are also located on the lower and upper end. Some escalators have lights under the handrails. There is no known model name for this escalator.
