Classrooms & Learning facilities

Our department classrooms and learning facilities include the traditional classrooms, SMART classrooms, Seminar halls with gallery seating arrangement, sound-proofed Audio/Video rooms with round table setting for case discussions, Business Analytics labs, Finance labs, a well-stocked library with textbooks, references, journals and e-resources, printing and photocopying facility, and wired and wireless connectivity to the internet for the students and the faculties.

Library - Hard and electronic

The IEM has excellent provision for reading and research in all its campuses. The library is well equipped with modern facilities (print and electronic) in the form of CDROMs, DVD-ROM, online databases, video, cassettes, books, journals, theses, reports etc. to cater to the academic requirements of students, faculty and research scholars. The infrastructure and the ambience of the reading room foster a healthy reading practice and encourage research work in the young minds.

IEM offers a 24x7 library facility for students to access books and other resources like papers, magazines, digital library etc. The students of each semester are allowed to take 8 books from the library in the beginning of the semester which they refer to as their core textbook. They are not required to return these books until the semester exams end.

Digital Library:

The modern digital libraries are equipped with sufficient computers and multimedia learning aids for users. The Library is stocked with about 150000 books with twenty thousand titles. It provides photocopying, printing and scanning facilities. The Library routine services have been fully automated using the library database management software (Koha). It is an integrated library management software package (automated library management system)

Learning Management System

The faculties are using multimedia elements LCD projectors in the Class room. It will help the faculties to represent the content in a more meaningful way using different media elements.

iemcrp: iemcrp is web based ERP system on cloud that improves the learning outcomes. Through iemcrp we are taking attendance of the students and evaluate their performance by conducting some semester basis online tests. All faculty members can share their teaching materials among students publicly through iemcrp.

Hostel

The educational group provides exclusive hostel facilities for boys and girls with proper security measures and round the clock monitoring to ensure safety and strict discipline among the inmates. It attempts to create a ‘home away from home’ by providing a homelike and congenial atmosphere with all comforts and necessities for day to day existence. The canteens serve quality vegetarian

Sports Facility

It is essential to consider the role of sports facilities. The department encourages various sports activities like cricket, football, basketball, badminton and the indoor sports like carom chess, table tennis. Sport plays an important part in the life of management department.

Indoor Sports Facilities

College of Management has the best indoor sports facilities as well as out of campus sports facilities. There are hard courts for basketball and badminton court and inside table tennis board, carom board, chess etc.

The department occasionally brings together alumni and students who share a passion for indoor sport and participate in indoor games.

Outdoor Sports Facilities

The nearby local community offers outdoor sports facilities and college takes all initiatives to offer outdoor sport facilities in the local area for cricket, football practice and match of the students. To improve the overall conditions of sports infrastructure in the colleges, the college is investing to make these facilities even better.

Medical Facility

It is essential to consider the medical facilities in the college. The college provides medical facility to all its students.
