IEM is an institutional member of Wadhwani Foundation, known for empowering professionals, post-college, college and pre-college students with knowledge and skills to create high-potential startups. IEM has been National Champion in NEN E-Week for the past 5 years.

TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs):

Founded in Silicon Valley, TiE provides specialized seminars, workshops and talks on entrepreneurship development for IEM Management Students.

The All India Management Association (AIMA):

The national apex body of the management profession in India AIMA undertakes a host of management related activities and initiatives. IEM management students gets a plethora of opportunities to attend and participate in various meetings, seminars where they can also create network with Indian and Global corporate majors.

The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS):

The Department of MBA of IEM is a member of AIMS which is a networking body of B-Schools in India for professional development of management education and safeguarding the interests of B-Schools in the country.

Calcutta Management Association (CMA):

The Department of MBA of IEM is a member of CMA which provides practicing managers a formal accreditation of their standing.

The Confederation of Indian Industry(CII)

IEM is a member of CII which works to create and sustain an environment which is conducive to the development of India, partnering industry, Government, and civil society, through advisory and consultative processes.

Chartered Market Technician (CMT)

The Department of MBA of IEM is an institutional member of The CMT Association, a non-profit, global, professional organization headquartered in New York that promotes advanced knowledge in technical analysis throughout the world. The CMT Association offers professional services including seminars, local region/chapter meetings, and maintains an extensive library of technical analysis material including their regular publications, newsletters and journals.

Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)

The Department of MBA of IEM is now a member of AACSB, an American professional organization and the most prestigious Global Business School Network. This will give IEM students and faculty members the opportunity to connect with educators, students, and business with a common goal.
