What a year it has been—and it’s only August. Adult learners are asking urgent questions about their rights and conflicts unfolding around them. This session introduces Teaching for Justice, a collection of adaptable, leveled lessons created by Minnesota adult educators. Topics include the right to assemble, disability rights, civic participation, and more! Grounded in Gholdy Muhammad’s five pursuits, especially joy, participants explore classroom-ready materials that support meaningful discussion, critical thinking, and learner agency in real-world contexts.
