Introduction ツ
I loved the idea of cosplaying since I started playing game then joining anime world, I always thought to myself that I wanted to cosplay but I couldn't because I'm a hijabi and in my country Bahrain there is no one to support me in it until, I started to see some Indo and ML cosplayers who inspired me to cosplay and I did with a little help of my passed brother (الله يرحمه), I cosplayed my first ever character that was Noctis from FFXV but his first design the Versus 13 design. That's how I started I think in 2023 and continued on till this day ( =＾ω＾).
Q1. "What is the 'vibe' or aesthetic of your hijab cosplay style?"
Literally anything.
Q2. "What is your #1 'Hijab Hack' for new cosplayers?"
I know you want to cosplay a character that you love but, started first with a simple character that is comfortable for you and then start slowly to go to the big ones.
Q3. "What does being a Hijab Cosplayer mean to you in being part of the Cosplay Community?"
It means everything, I know it's just a hobby for me but, it means to do something I love and seeing people around me doing the same thing that I love it everything.
Q4. "Which character did you feel most 'yourself' in, and why?"
I don't actually have one but one day I want to do my own character Insha'allah.
Q5. " If you could change one thing about the current ACG community scenes to make it more enjoyable/inclusive, what would it be?"
No racism, that's the main goal.
Q6. "What is one thing that normies often get wrong about Hijab Cosplay that you want to fix?"
For me I search up for cheap cosplays and the edit them by my own self.
What I want to change or add is a little help with making the hair style on the hijab to make it easier for us to make and wear.
