Introduction ツ
I got into hijab cosplay because of Ai Nurul, she was a huge inspiration to me ♥️
I’ve always loved dressing up and doing makeup, and that passion naturally led me into hijab cosplay. My best friend has also played an important role in my journey, constantly supporting and encouraging me along the way.
I started my journey on 3rd December 2021, and since then, every cosplay has been a chance for me to learn and improve especially in makeup and hijab styling. I hope that one day I can grow enough to build a community where hijabi cosplayers feel safe and supported 💞🌹.
Q1. "What is the 'vibe' or aesthetic of your hijab cosplay style?"
Anything that works, i don’t really have a specific vibe or aesthetic✨
Q2. "What is your #1 'Hijab Hack' for new cosplayers?"
Don’t be afraid to start, even if it’s not perfect.
Hijab cosplay isn’t about being 100% accurate, it’s about expressing yourself in a way that makes you happy 🙂
Q3. "What does being a Hijab Cosplayer mean to you in being part of the Cosplay Community?"
To me, being a hijab cosplayer means creating confidently, inspiring others, and feeling accepted in a community that celebrates passion and creativity. It’s a reminder that cosplay is meant to be enjoyed by everyone💕
Q4. "Which character did you feel most 'yourself' in, and why?"
it’s hard to choose between Hu Tao and March 7th, they were the characters I felt most myself in. Their cheerful, playful personalities are similar to mine, so cosplaying them felt comfortable and genuinely enjoyable. and i would love to bring them back one day💕
Q5. " If you could change one thing about the current ACG community scenes to make it more enjoyable/inclusive, what would it be?"
If I could change one thing about the current ACG community, it would be for hijabi cosplayers to be seen and treated the same as everyone else. Sometimes hijabi cosplayers receive different reactions or are looked at differently, which can make the space feel unwelcoming. I believe the community would be more enjoyable and inclusive if everyone approached cosplay with openness and respect, recognizing that passion and creativity matter more than how someone chooses to dress.🫶🏻
