From the middle of the last century, the corner house between 'The Belgium House' and the Town Hall was occupied by a succession of doctors – Drs. Rooke, John Crew, F. Denys Crew, Greenfield, McCabe and Cunningham.
On the retirement of Dr. Cunningham the property was acquired by a firm of solicitors.
