Sow & Grow Lab: From Seed to Sustainability is a hands-on, NGSS-aligned science elective where students explore ecology, plant biology, sustainability, and community engagement through the creation and care of a school garden. Students investigate soil health, biodiversity, pollinators, and human impacts while designing solutions to real-world challenges such as accessibility, water use, and sustainable food production. Through data collection, experimentation, and collaborative projects, students develop scientific thinking, environmental stewardship, and practical skills that connect classroom learning to meaningful community impact.
