Environmental Science (formally Ecology) is a one semester elective course offered to students that have successfully completed a year of biology and may be taken concurrently with any science class after one science credit has been earned. It covers a wide range of extended biology topics including environmental issues, ecosystems, water resources and biodiversity. Labs and projects, many of which require working outdoors and with lab equipment provided by the school, will be conducted continuously and throughout each unit. Good attendance and daily participation are crucial to a student’s success in this course.
