Forensics is a course that uses a “hands-on” approach to content that integrates concepts and technology from the various disciplines of science through the discussion of real-life issues. In order to merge theory with practice, a hands-on approach will be taken in presentation of course materials. Participation in all laboratory activities as well as attendance at all classroom field trips will be expected. In addition to lab activities, content will be taught through case readings, videos, and information from the Internet. Assessment will be done through a variety of methods including quizzes, tests, written summaries, projects, and presentations. Some topics covered may be considered graphic in nature. Please review the syllabus in the first week of school to insure proper placement in the course.
