Quote of the day: "Be patient. Big things don't happen instantly. But in order to achieve those big things, you need several things: A constant drive. A clear vision. And a willingness to learn."

Spend at least some part of each day with the people you love, and also make sure to do things you like doing, like hobbies at least for a small part of the day.
If you are looking to improve your life, try these small ten tips and repeat them each day. No generic tips here.
Seriously. There is a nearly universal requirement of at least 8 hours of sleep a day. Any less a day can actually be bad for you. Sleep deprivation can result in many adverse effects including: headaches, reduced physical and mental health, inability to focus in school and more. Chronic sleep deprivation has been shown to have a link to some mental illnesses including depression. So seriously. Sleep well.
Ever heard the saying "first impressions are gold."? Well this is sort of like that, except the first thing you do in your day has a big influence on how the rest of your day looks like.
This actually does wonders for your physical, and by extension your mental health. Check out the revised Canad Food Guide here: The New Canada Food Guide!
This is good for nothing but stress. Don't compare yourself to others. Just be satisfied with yourself. Accept what you can do,, appreciate yourself for who you are, appreciate your unique skillset, because nobody is alike, and everyone has a purpose.
To do lists do work somewhat, for some people...but there is now increasing evidence that to do lists aren't effective, causing stress and task buildup, not to mention actually encouraging procrastination. So what should I do instead? Use time blockers? What are time blockers? Well its sort of like a schedule, except you create your own schedule items instead of just others' deadlines. You divide your day into parts, for each task, and make sure to overcompensate for time, so you have enough time to do the task. Make sure to leave breaks in your schedule.
Writing down items can make them more real. Gives you more power over your problems, in a sense. Then you can think of solutions to what is bothering you.
There might be something you missed. Lets say its a conflict? Its better to put yourself in "all the shoes" before you make a solid decision, so to understand what's really going on, getting an idea of the bigger picture. It leads to more empathetic and logical decision making.
Start from the event, which you know happenned, and work your way back to the cause
Ok ok ok. So what I mean by this, is, you are influenced by the people you interact with frequently, in this case aka. your friend circle. So think about it this way. What kind of an attitude do you want to have? Ambitious? Good at learning? Generally nice people? Then hang around similar people, and that is half the work.
Of course this doesnt apply when it comes to people with different interests to yours. (See next tip when it comes to that.)
Seriously. The "comfort zone" is just a self constructed ideology created by your own consciousness to sabotage you from trying new things. So try some new hobbies. Do things you normally don't do. Hang around with people who have different interests from yours. And see how that changes your life.
