Restoration of deleted emails in Google Workspace can be done quickly. The process hardly takes any time. Follow these methods to retrieve those messages before they are deleted permanently:
Basic Method
Open Google Workspace on your computer.
On the left side of the screen, scroll down and click on Trash.
Look for the deleted email you want to recover.
Mark the checkbox next to the email you want to restore.
Click on “Move to” at the top of the screen.
Select “Inbox” or another folder where you want to save the email.
Your deleted messages will now appear in your Gmail account again.
If that does not work, you can try restoring your emails with the advanced method. Note: The advanced method is meant only for Google Workspace administrators, and the retrieved emails may take a while to appear in the inbox.
Advanced Method
On your browser, navigate to Google Admin Console.
Log in with your admin email and password.
From the Admin console dashboard, click “Users.” Here you can find all the accounts in your Google Workspace organization.
Select the user account whose deleted emails you want to recover.
Click on the user account, then select “Restore Data” from the left-side menu or under the user’s profile options.
Select the date range during which the emails were deleted.
Select “Gmail” as the application.
Click “Restore” to begin the recovery process.
Wait for the emails to reappear in the user’s Gmail account.
