Sometimes, your new job might require using Outlook instead of Gmail. You may have been using Gmail for a long time, and now you need to move to a completely new email platform for your daily communication.
You might be wondering how great it would be to have all your emails in one place. Well, the good news is you don’t have to manually transfer all your Gmail messages to Outlook. There is a simple way to export emails from Gmail to Outlook, and it only takes a few steps:
First, open Gmail and click on the Settings icon located at the top right of the screen.
Next, click on “See all settings.”
After that, open the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
Click on the “Add a forwarding address” option.
Enter your Outlook email address and click on “Next.”
You will see the “Confirm Forwarding Address” window. Then, you need to click on Proceed.
Click “OK” when the confirmation code message appears.
Open your Outlook Mail and check the confirmation email you received.
Enter the code or open the attached link to set up automatic forwarding.
If you have opened the link, click on the “Confirm” option.
Select “Forward a copy of incoming mail.”
Verify the selected email address in the To field.
Choose your preferred option from the “and” field dropdown.
Click Save Changes.
