The power of words.
Words hold the power to either create or destroy. The swiftness of one’s crisp intellectual dialect can pierce through the dim veil of the collective unconscious experience, serving as the “unseen” bridge between our physical realities and all that we wish to manifest. The feeling is electrifying, like an energetic pulse that flows from the crevasses of our mouths into the immense, open, purities of our surroundings. The beauty of prayer, affirmation, phrases of highly-charged, magical intent is that these complex formulas of human speech produce rapid results in our day-to-day lives. But where do these words come from? Who is the recipient of these words? Where do they go? Do they truly have an impact or purpose?
It’s funny because I used to believe that the only way someone can truly understand the language of your mind, body, heart. and soul is if you verbally communicate that to them. You know, proper diction. Words, similes, sentence structures, verbs, adjectives. Having a topic and conjugating phrases. That’s how you communicate. But no, it’s so much deeper, so much fuller than that.
Being cognizant of what you speak (and who you are speaking it to) grants a multidimensional access to what I like to call “The Universal Telephone Line”, a 24/7 stream of consciousness to your Creator of choice. By Creator, I am referring to our vast, unconditionally loving, spiritual consultants that provide our deepest healing abilities and foundation to our respective Faiths.
Oftentimes, our methods of communication become skewed when the ideas, viewpoints, and messages we are trying to convey are rejected or not received in the way we would like them to be. We see this happening during the tumultuous times of our present day; political agendas that we advocate for, life-altering pandemics that reduce us to a place of extreme mental and emotional uncertainty, and so much more. Whether it’s society as a whole, our loved ones (family members, friends, associates, etc), or even ourselves, we become entrapped in cyclic patterns of what we deem “proper” communication. Instead of pushing past these preconceived notions that in order to effectively communicate our desires, we must push ourselves to present our innermost thoughts and feelings to a receptive audience. We then come to the conclusion that if this audience rejects our message, whatever that message may be, then it is invalid or wrong.
THIS IS NOT THE CASE!
The perception of our individual realities comes down to one, illusory truth.
When you fully accept yourself, your ways of thinking, and your blueprints of manifesting to the Higher being, you recognize in that moment how much you have truly formed a community of unbiased, nonjudgmental recipients of our authentic truths. Embracing all sides of you is healthy. Vulnerability is healthy.
No one is obligated to applaud you on it or recognize that moment either. Your own validation is the only form that matters. Choosing to be vulnerable is not easy nor is it an overnight process. For me, vulnerability provides the chance to unzip and reveal the true essence of my emotions, my trauma, and my insecurities for all that they are. I often found myself extremely reluctant to confide in hardly anyone (especially myself) the thoughts and feelings that boiled and churned internally; chaotic and tumultuous like the ocean waves hypnotized by the magnetics of the moon, out of sheer fear and an unwillingness to be judged.
Eventually, those untouched spirals of emotions disintegrated my already crumbling defense mechanisms until I had no choice but to seek assistance and communicate the language of my protected pains. I noticed that when I began to open my heart space and speak through my authentic truths, others around me took notice and resonated with what I was refraining from addressing! This made me feel a lot more comfortable and less timid in the authenticity of my essence. I walked straighter, my head began to lift higher, my smile wider, and my Faith embedded the beauty of its miracles as a permanent code in my genetic makeup.
Step outside of the notions that communication can only happen during a face-to-face encounter! Words are immensely miraculous and assist in co-creating our realities. Ask and you shall receive!
