📅 Hauppauge Swim Program – Seasonal Schedule Guide

The Hauppauge Swim Program runs throughout the year with four seasonal sessions: Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring. Each session offers a variety of programs designed to serve swimmers of all ages and experience levels. Our goal is to provide consistent, high-quality instruction and safe aquatic experiences—no matter the season.

🌸 Spring Session  (Current Session)

• Offered: March 14th to May 30th

• Registration: Tuesday, March 10th from 6pm to 8pm for Residents and Wednesday, March 11th from 6pm to 8pm for Residents and Non-Residents

• Includes:

  • Group Swim Lessons

    1. Session Dates: March 14th, 21st, 28th, April 18th, 25th, May 2nd, 9th, 16th, 30th

  • Family Swim

    1. Session Dates: March 13th, 27th, April 17th, 24th, May 1st, 8th, 15th, 29th, June 5th, 12th, 26th 

  • Lifeguarding Certification Courses

    1. Registration: Thursday, March 12th 7pm for Residents and Non-Residents

    2. Session Dates: TBA

As the weather warms up, it’s a great time to get back into the pool. Spring is ideal for preparing for summer lifeguard jobs with our certification course.

🌞 Summer Session (Upcoming Session)

• Offered: June 22th to July 25th

• Registration: Monday, June 22nd from 6pm to 8pm for Residents and Tuesday, June 23rd from 6pm to 8pm for Residents and Non-Residents

• Includes:

  • Group Swim Lessons

    1. Session 1 Dates: June 29th, 30th, July 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th

    2. Session 2 Dates: July 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, and 24th

  • Family Swim

    1. Session Dates: June 30th, July 2nd, 7th, 9th 14th, 16th, 21st and 23rd

  • Adult Swim Lessons (seasonal addition)

    1. Session Dates: June 29th, July 1st, 3rd, 6th, 8th, 10th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 20th, 22nd and  24th

Summer is the perfect time to dive into the pool! We expand our offerings to include Adult Lessons, making it a great opportunity for swimmers of all ages to gain skills and confidence.

Fall is an excellent time to build swim skills or become certified as a lifeguard. Lifeguarding courses are taught by Red Cross certified instructors and prepare participants for jobs in aquatics.

Stay active through the colder months with swim programs that keep skills sharp and provide certification opportunities for future lifeguards.

• Group Lessons : Taught by Red Cross certified instructors in a safe, supportive environment
  
  

• Family Swim: Open swim sessions for individuals and families, with areas for lap swim, shallow play, and diving

Additional programs may be added based on availability and community interest. All offerings are supervised by Red Cross certified lifeguards and instructors.
