๐น Program Overview
The Hauppauge Lifeguarding Program is a comprehensive training course affiliated with the American Red Cross, designed to certify individuals in lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid. Taught by certified Red Cross instructors, this course equips participants with the knowledge and skills needed to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies in both pool and waterpark environments.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will earn an official American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certificationโa nationally recognized credential required for employment as a professional lifeguard.
๐ Course Includes:
Lifeguarding skills: water rescues, surveillance, and emergency response
First Aid and CPR/AED for professional rescuers
Hands-on instruction, skills practice, and final written and in-water exams
โ Eligibility Requirements:
Must be 15 years of age or older by the final day of the course
Must successfully complete a prerequisite swim test (details will be provided upon registration)

Non Residents Course Fee = $350
Additional Certification and Supply Fee $100
