What We Focus On:
Perfecting stroke technique for freestyle, backstroke, elementary backstroke, breaststroke, sidestroke, and butterfly
Introducing advanced breathing techniques (e.g., alternate side and 3-count breathing)
Improving kicking strength, body position, and overall stroke efficiency
Teaching surface dives, standing dives, and breath control
Building endurance for longer swims and preparing for the demands of Level 6
End-of-Level Goals:
By the end of Level 5, swimmers should show solid form in all six strokes and improved stamina. They should be comfortable swimming longer distances and be able to demonstrate surface diving, basic diving technique, consistent breathing control, and all skills listed above. Completion of Level 5 prepares swimmers for stroke mastery and endurance training in Level 6
