100% Heat Recovery

4 Way Heat Pump system. 100 % Heat recovery. Achieved COP 8.1

Design, Procurement, Installation, and Maintenance of a 4 Way Heat Pump system capable of 100 % Heat recovery, achieving a Summer time COP of 8.1.

Used 2 Climaveneta NECS/Q/SL 0704, 4way, 100% Heat Recovery, Air to Water, Hear pumps.

One of the 2 pipe systems was used to cool Rooms and reception using Fan Coil Units, Air Handling Units and Underfloor cooling (Dew point control).

All heat produced from the cooling cycle was transferred, using the second two pipe system, to heat Sanitary Hot Water for use in Room bathrooms, Commercial Kitchens and Hotel Laundry.

Sanitary Hot water production was also provided with Hot Water energy using a Solar Hot water system, both at Summer and Winter time.

The FCU’s and AHU’s were designed to work with 45 ^oC hot water temperature, in order to comply with the heat pumps minimum water heat output during winter.
