Why? The virus is airborne carried by droplets / particles.
Infested droplets / particles exist in higher concentration in the enclosed toilet space.
How? Any infested droplets / particles in the toiler space will be drawn in by the high-pressure fan of the hand dryer and then forcibly blown on to the skin of the hands and onto the user. In fact, due to the high-pressure air, some open nozzle equipment can disperse the virus through the space.
Action?
Do not use air blowing hand dryers.
Use hand sanitiser after the use of an air hand blower.
Use air blowing hand dryers that contain UVGI systems. (a bit difficult to find due to high air flow)
Use disposable paper Towels as a better alternative.
