Island Challenge Cup  2025

 In 2008 Lenore Davis (South island) and Dee Horie (North island) visualized an annual event where North and South Island would compete against each other. In 2009 their visualization became a reality. 

For the new members, the Island Challenge Cup is a 2 day inter-zone tournament that is a “Solheim Cup” format with foursomes and four balls on day 1 and singles matches on day 2.  It’s a great chance to hone your skills while enjoying the team atmosphere.2024 marks the revival of the Island Challenge Cup which was conceived by Dee Horie and Lenore Davis in 2008 and played its inaugural event in 2009.  2020 saw the start of a 4 year hiatus – COVID 19, then over stretched golf courses and, finally, personal challenges combined to thwart attempts to continue.
