Useful Tips

  • Salvage kits have options to salvage an entire stack of items or items of a certain rarity or below. Right-click a salvage kit to access this feature.

  • Merchants have a "sell junk" button that sells all of your gray quality junk items

  • Your inventory has buttons on the top right for compacting your inventory and for depositing all crafting materials.

  • Keep stacks of unidentified gear in a safe box/invisible bag so that when you click on salvage all x and lower, it won't try to salvage your unidentified gear.

  • DO YOUR DAILIES! Here are easy spots to complete some PvE dailies

  • If you ever need a trading post or access to your bank, you can teleport to the PvP Lobby (Click on the crossed swords icon on the top left of your UI. They’re both located at the Market Waypoint [&BNgJAAA=].

  • There’s also a portal to Lion’s Arch at [&BEkFAAA=]. Saves you a lot of time on alts.

  • If you open the PvP menu again and click on Exit PvP Lobby, the game will return you to the same position you left from in the Open World.

  • Holding alt and dragging an item to an empty inventory slot will allow you to split stacks of items.

  • Right-clicking weapons/equipment/outfits/skins allow you to preview them. Some effects will not show unless you check the box for wielded or weapon only

  • Shift-clicking items/points of interests/waypoints will give you a link in the chat box to share with others

  • You can ping positions on the map/minimap by shift-clicking.

  • You can draw on the map/minimap by holding shift and holding down your right mouse button to draw.

  • Alt-clicking a position on a map places a personal waypoint that other party members can see. Alt-click on the waypoint again to clear it.

  • Right-clicking stacks of items allow you to consume the entire stack at once.

  • Upgraded guild halls have a bartender that offers you free 24-hour buffs to Crafting, Gathering, Karma, Magic Find, XP Gain and other things

  • Right-clicking equipment allow you to preview them. There are check-boxes to see what it looks like to wield the weapon or to look at only the weapon.

  • In the equipment screen, there are check-boxes for headgear, shoulders, and back to toggle visibility of these items on your character
