The school mock interview was a nerve-inducing but informative experience. As I sat across from the interviewers, I had a mix of nervousness and excitement, knowing that this was my time to prepare for actual job prospects in the future. The interviewers posed several questions, putting my confidence, communication skills, and thinking abilities on the spot. While I muddled through some answers, I was able to see the need to remain calm and clearly convey my thoughts.

This experience led me to the understanding that practice makes a difference when you're making an impression.

I became more in touch with what I was capable of doing in a professional context. The interviewers' feedback informed me about areas I need to work on, including maintaining eye contact, speaking clearly, and organizing my answers better. I also learned that body language and tone of voice contribute immensely to leaving a good impression. Overall, the practice interview was a great learning experience that also boosted my confidence level. It allowed me to better understand how essential practice and personal development are to the preparation of job applications. Although I recognize that there is still plenty to work on, I am now better placed to deal with actual interviews more confidently and professionally.
