This documentation showcases our procedures, struggles, processes, and more throughout the activity, providing insight into our journey, growth, and the valuable lessons we’ve learned along the way. It serves as a reflection of our experiences and highlights how we overcame challenges to achieve our goals.
On the first day of our work immersion, our teacher, Sir Chibby, divided us into six groups. After organizing the groups, our first meeting began. We discussed the details of our website project, including what we were going to create, the overall theme, the tasks assigned to each member, and the requirements we needed to fulfill.
We brainstormed ideas, shared our insights, and clarified our roles within the team. This initial discussion helped us align our goals and set a clear direction for the project. It also allowed us to collaborate and communicate effectively, ensuring that everyone understood their responsibilities. The meeting was productive and laid a solid foundation for the work ahead, giving us a sense of purpose and motivation to start the project.
Our first performance task was to create a short video about work ethics. To start, we planned the setting and developed the plot. After brainstorming ideas, we found the perfect location—the city hall—where we were granted permission to film inside. It was an ideal spot that added authenticity to our story.
Thanks to our team's strong collaboration and effective communication, we were able to complete the filming in just one day. Everyone was dedicated and focused, seamlessly taking on their roles, whether acting, directing, or handling the technical aspects. The experience taught us the value of teamwork and how efficient planning can lead to productive results. It was not only a fun and creative project but also an opportunity to apply what we had learned about work ethics in a practical and meaningful way.
After completing all our tasks, our teachers assigned us to write a reflection. We began working on it individually, making sure to manage our time effectively so that we could submit it on schedule.
Writing the reflection allowed us to look back on our experiences, challenges, and the lessons we learned throughout the process. It was an opportunity for self-assessment, helping us recognize our strengths and areas for improvement. By reflecting on our journey, we gained valuable insights that will guide us in future projects. This task not only enhanced our critical thinking skills but also helped us appreciate the growth and progress we made during our work immersion.
This is our mock interview practice, where our work immersion teachers prepared us for the future interviews we will face. At first, we were nervous because it was our first time experiencing such a setting. However, as we recalled the lessons our teacher taught us—such as the possible questions an interviewer might ask, the proper way to respond, the right posture to maintain, and the importance of maintaining eye contact—we gradually gained confidence.
The experience was both challenging and exciting. It allowed us to apply what we had learned in a realistic setting, helping us overcome our initial fears. Through this practice, we not only improved our communication skills but also learned how to present ourselves professionally. It was a valuable opportunity that gave us insights into the interview process and prepared us for future career opportunities.
Our work immersion teacher introduced all the tasks we need to complete for the 2nd semester. Although the workload seemed overwhelming at first, we are determined to manage our time and efforts effectively to accomplish everything. One of the key tasks is to create a project proposal. Our teacher will review all the proposals and select the best one, which will become our second project for the 4th quarter.
The chosen project will involve organizing a seminar within the school since we won’t be deployed outside. This opportunity challenges us to think creatively and plan an event that is both educational and engaging. We are excited about the chance to develop our leadership, communication, and event management skills.
We started by discussing potential topics for our project. Initially, we thought about focusing on leadership and lawmaking, as we were targeting HUMSS students. We wanted our audience to gain a better understanding of leadership and the legislative process. However, our topic was rejected, so we brainstormed again for a new idea.
After reconsidering, we decided to focus on the issue of cigarette smoking, as many students in our school smoke. Our goal is to educate them about the harmful effects of cigarettes and raise awareness about the dangers of smoking.
Collaborating as a team, we will brainstorm ideas, outline the seminar’s objectives, and assign roles to ensure everything runs smoothly. This project not only prepares us for future professional endeavors but also gives us the opportunity to contribute positively to our school community. We are motivated to make this seminar both memorable and impactful for everyone involved.
The exam ended, and the school foundation day began. We were excited to see a variety of booths set up around the school and took the opportunity to visit and try some of them. It was a fun and lively celebration of MPNAG, and we enjoyed the activities and games offered.
The atmosphere was filled with energy as students, teachers, and staff came together to celebrate the school’s achievements and foster a sense of community. The foundation day gave us a break from our usual routine and allowed us to unwind and have fun. It was an enjoyable and memorable experience, and it reminded us of the importance of school spirit and camaraderie.
