January 7th, the second day of the second semester we met another wonderful teacher that will assist Si Del Carmen in our Work Immersion, Ma'am Margaret. She welcomed us with a burst of energy and positivity as she taught us what Work Ethics is.
Ma'am Margaret taght us the meaning of ethics and its relevance to the subject and she spoke, I learned and reflected on some things.
First, I learned that the word ethics means more than just about one's behavior, but rather it is about someone's personality and character.
Second, I realized that when working, it is more than just about earning money, and submitting what is requested and needed it is also about doing it with passion and supporting a quote I once heard that says "It is better to work for free when you're doing what you love than working for millions but without passion".
And lastly I realized how important character is when applying for any job. Regardless of your credentials and validation if, you as an individual does not possess a character that fits the companies values our credentials means nothing leaving me with a realization that our academic validations may define our skills but our personality defines our character
