ADMISSION POLICY FOR ADMISSION TO BS Programs
Each 4-Year Degree Program comprises 8 semesters in which every student has to complete a minimum of 133 credit hours. This program is equivalent to 2-Year MA/ MSc Program. For this purpose, the college is affiliated with University of Gujrat which is recognized by HEC.
The process of admission is carried out every year in the Fall semester on the basis of Intermediate by fulfilling the criteria set by the University through its admission policy regarding each discipline. It is to be noted that, although there are separate criteria for various disciplines but in none of them, except BS IT, the candidates having less than 45% marks are eligible for the admission.
Minimum criterion for BS IT is 50% marks in FA/F.Sc. with Mathematics and Computer Science of 200 marks each.
A student has to maintain a CGPA of 1.5 or above to remain on roll in every semester whereas a minimum CGPA of 2.0 is required for the award of degree. In case of Grade F or a GPA of less than 1.5 in a particular course in any semester, that course will be dropped but admission will not be cancelled. It is the responsibility of the student to get registered for that course to remove the deficiency.
As per the policy of the University of Gujrat, 40% evaluation is done by the college and 60% by the university. Final result and grade is declared by the university.
Admission will stand cancelled ipso facto in case of non-payment of admission fee/ examination fee/ college fee within due date.
For admission to BS Physics, it is mandatory for the candidates to have studied the subject of Mathematics carrying 200 marks at HSSC level.
