MASK MAKING
A project to help sew masks and distribute them to our community
To reach the mask making team, please send email to masks@goodfairy.org
YES we do still need help.
Join the mask making team. We give you all materials including precut fabric. We can deliver and pick up if you are SIP. We can loan a sewing machine . We offer zoom tutorials on using a sewing machine if you are rusty or a first timer. It's fine if you won't produce a lot of masks or make them very quickly. And also fine if you only want to sew for a few weeks or to make masks for a particular group. Give us call.
Donate sewing machines. We gift these to mask makers in The Canal District in addition to Good Fairy sewists.
Transport supplies and masks
Cut fabric to make ready to sew pieces
Donate money for materials, machine repair etc
Wearable technology - Good Fairy is currently testing options to assist communication between mask wearers. Interested in helping here or benefiting from this email penny@goodfairy.org
WE are still supplying hundreds of masks, our most regular donations are to food bank workers, groups supporting those who are currently homeless and vulnerable low income communities including Campfire survivors and the Navajo Nation.
